16th Hole
A straight par 4, that usually plays a bit longer because it is into the prevailing wind. The last 40m before the green is uphill. Centre of the fairway is good, because the thick trees down the left can mean a lost ball, and the trees down the right make it almost impossible to get your next shot onto the green.
There is water 50m short of the green on the right, which is out of range for most players. However, if you think you may reach it, it’s safer to use a shorter club. The uphill green adds 5 – 10 m to your approach shot, with short being the best place to miss the green. The green slopes from back down to front.
